Sponsorships are one of the most impactful ways the community can help support the St. Johns Bizarre — making sure this FREE curated craft fair and music event continues to bring thousands of people from across the Metro area to the best neighborhood in Portland.
We’re an all-volunteer crew of neighbors who love St. Johns and everything it has to offer. Sponsorships help us ensure we can bring top-notch bands to our two stages, while giving us the means to expand our footprint to include a record number of craft and art vendors. They also help us connect with the community this event exists to benefit.
You don’t have to take our word for it! Check out what some of our local businesses and one of our major media outlets has to say.
And read on to find out how your business or organization can help support this amazing event, too!
What local businesses say
“You know it’s officially heading into Portland’s summer festivities season when the St. Johns Bizarre arrives. This event traditionally draws a diverse crowd of people who have been celebrating the spirit of the community for years, transforming the streets into a marketplace of games and activities. This annual event blends with the St. Johns Parade, which concludes with a portion of the business district closing to traffic, and brings in over 180 craft vendors, multiple vibrant music stages, and all that food.” — Willamette Week
“It’s a huge boost for all the businesses, and really sets the stage for people who haven’t been to St. Johns before to understand what we are really about. It’s generally one of the best business days of the year. Just behind Christmas time.“ — Annalisa Romano, owner, RōM St. Johns
“The St Johns Bizarre is the highlight of our year! It’s always our busiest day and infuses the neighborhood with so much energy. The Bizarre brings so many new faces to the area and we delight in being able to win them over as future-regulars. The event, the volunteers, and the vendors are always so supportive of one another, as well as to the local shops.” — Matt Brown, owner, The Great North

Thank you for considering sponsoring the 16th Annual St. Johns Bizarre in 2025. The Bizarre is a uniquely crafted community celebration that brings thousands of people from around the Portland Metro Area to enjoy what Willamette Week once called “the only Portland street festival that matters.” (We think that’s still very true!)
After being paused for three years due to COVID, in 2023 we came back stronger than ever! We hosted two stages for music, 140 local craft vendors, food vendors, locally crafted beverages in our beer garden, and activities up and down the streets of downtown St Johns. Last year, we grew to accommodate a record 180 vendors — with no signs of slowing down!
The event is run by an all-volunteer committee and the event is free to attend. However, the event is not free to put on: We pride ourselves on paying our musicians and artists, and there are infrastructure costs for putting on a street fair (permitting, barricades, stages, etc.). We rely on the support of Portland’s institutions, leading local businesses, community partners, and other sponsors to make this event possible. We sincerely hope you can support this key community event.
Sponsorship payments are due soon to get your logo as a sponsor included in our print materials and advertising.
